Fangirl

A tale of fanfiction, family and first love.
Fangirl is the bright and witty novel written by Rainbow Rowell. I loved this book it was easy to read and hard to put down. You'll laugh and laugh and laugh some more. I fell in love with the characters so easily and I could definitely relate to Cath! -although at some parts of the book I wanted to tear out every page with a certain characters name on it. If you haven't already read this book you need to rush to your nearest book shop and get your hands on a copy!®
Emergency dance party!

Now they're off to university and Wren's decided she doesn't want to be one half of a pair any more - she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. It's not so easy for Cath. She would rather bury herself in the fanfiction she writes where there's romance far more intense than anything she's experienced in real life.
Now Cath has to decide whether she's ready to open her heart to new people and new experiences, and she's realizing that there's more to learn about love than she ever thought possible...

Storm

Earth. Fire. Air. Water.

The brothers each have their own quirky little thing to fall in love with and that's part of the reason why I can't wait to read the next installments!® Becca happened to be in the wrong place at the right time when she sees Chris Merrick being pushed around as she jumps in to save him she would never have thought the repercussions would change her life forever.

Anna Dressed In Blood

My sweet little Anna.
Anna Dressed In Blood is the first book in the astounding series written by Kendare Blake. Savage

You are mine.
Savage is the final novel in the Wolf Springs Chronicles written by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie. As always with the books of the astounding Wolf Springs Chronicles I want to crawl inside and live in the mesmerizing world both Nancy and Debbie have created. Savage was hard to put down I finished it over night! It was fast paced, thrilling and full of action. It was beautifully written and easy to follow. I'm so sad this is the last book in the Wolf Springs Chronicles but I'm very impressed with the way it ended. All round this book was extraordinary!®  Katelyn is in the middle of a war between two werewolf packs - Fenner and Gaudin - and her loyalty to her pack is tested and on top of that the Hellhound is still after her.

Clockwork Angel

Where there's our Will, there's a dozen angry girls claiming he's compromised their virtue.

Clockwork Angel written by Cassandra Clare is the wonderful first installment to The Infernal Devices series. I loved this novel it had action, romance and drama everything a good book should have! It was fast paced and easy to read. I had a standard for Clockwork Angel because it had worked up so much hype and it reached that standard and then some! ® Tessa Gray arrived to England expecting to be greeted by her loving older brother but all that went down hill. When she was instead greeted by a secrate world of warlocks, vampires and many other supernatural creatures. Percy Jackson: And The Lightning Thief

I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher.
Percy Jackson: And The Lightning Thief is the first installment to the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson was made out to be another one of those big "must read" books and I wholeheartedly agree! This novel was defiantly a gift from the Gods - pun was intended - It was an all round great read. Percy Jackson: And The Lightning Thief had a great story line that was easy to follow and just as easy to get hooked on. I couldn't put this book down, I loved every paragraph! It was such a gripping read with suspense, adventure and action this book has go it all.®  Percy was a normal boy until one day strange things started happening. Divergent

One choice can transform you.
Divergent is the first installment to the best selling trilogy by Veronica Roth. Divergent was worked up to be an absolute must read and I totally agree! it is an astounding read. I must say most books that are worked up I find quite disappointing because of the way people rave on about them and when I read them I'm kind of like "What? you all made this out to be as if the sun shined out of it's pages" but with Divergent that is exactly how it is! in fact my copy of the book is shiny so I like to think the sun does indeed shine out of it's pages. I couldn't put it down Divergent is the definition of page turner, it had it all take everything I use to describe what a good book is an times it by ten and that's Divergent. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into the other installments and see the movie! ® Tris was never truly comfortable in the faction she was born into, so when she is given the opportunity to leave she goes for it. She soon finds herself in a world were she belongs until things start to unravel.
One choice decides your friends,
defines your beliefs and determines your
loyalties...forever.
Summary from book jacket:
When sixteen-year-old Tris makes her choice, she cannot forsee how drastically her life will change. Or that the perfect society in which she lives is about to unfold into a dystopian world of electrifying decisions, stunning consequences, heartbreaking betrayals an unexpected romance.
Happy #Allegiant day to the rest of the Divergent fandom! :D

Bite Club

Claire stabbed the stake in the coffee table, point down, with all her strength.
Bite Club by Rachel Caine is the tenth installment to The Morganville Vampires (TMV) series. As always with the TMV series I can't wait to read the next book. This novel was filled with drama, action and suspense. Bite Club had a little less romance then the other TMV books and I'm not complaining it was still such a great read I couldn't put it down! I was laughing, crying, melting on the inside and peeing myself all at the same time. It was for lack of better words an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every page of it!® As always Claire and the gang have gotten themselves in mortal danger and are facing death right in the face. Skulduggery Pleasant

He had no eyes and he had no face. All he had was a skull for a head.

Skulduggery Pleasant written by Derek Landy is a humorous read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It is  targeted at a younger audience however I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who likes drama and a good laugh. It was full of all the good things a little action here, a sprinkle of adventure there and a whole lot of fun everywhere else.® A gripping tale of two friends struggling to fight an ongoing battle that may or may not save humanity.

"And my ego will flourish" -Skulduggery

Valiant

The tree woman choked on the poison, the slow sap of her blood burning.
Valiant written by Holly Black is a wonderfully dark take on Beauty And The Beast that will leave you totally flabbergasted. Valiant was beautifully written and had an awesome story line. It was funny, heart melting and will have you on the edge of your seat. It was an all round great novel and I can't wait to read more from Holly Black in the near future.® Valerie has been betrayed by the person she loved most so she ran away. She now seeks refuge with a bunch of teenage street rats that live in the train tunnels of New York but when she stumbles over a new world the faerie world she meets a troll that goes by the name of Ravus that she soon finds herself having feelings for. There will be an issue mentioned in the
video review about the book that should be
heard if you are younger than 13.

Spellcaster

"The one beneath is coming," Elizabeth whispered.
Spellcaster written by Claudia Gray is well written and had a great story line, the characters were great - I loved Verlain - it was thrilling and full of drama. There were heart melting moments, moments that will make you cry and moments that will make you laugh out loud. I must admit I was a bit disappointed with this book, I don't know if it was because the amount of hype that was built up for it or the fact that it was made out to be the next best seller by some websites though it turned out to be a very ordinary novel. However I hope to see if the next installment is better.® When Nadia is forced to move to a different town she finds out that there is more to Captive's Sound then meets the eye there is a dark magic unlike any she's ever seen before all through the town. The Immortal Rules

In a future world, vampires reign.
The Immortal Rules is the first installment to the Blood Of Eden chronicles written by Julie Kagawa. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was action packed and thoroughly gripping. I loved the ending, the story line and characters - Alice was totally kick-ass - there wasn't very much romance but what The Immortal Rules lacked in romance it mad up for thrills and laughs. I couldn't put this book down it was a great read and I highly recommend it to any reader.® Allison lived in the Fringe which is pretty much the equivalent to being a street rat. But when she is attacked by rabid vampires she is given the choice turn into the creature she hates most and escape the fringe or die.
Humans are blood cattle.

All Our Yesterdays

ending.

Shiver

I didn't realize that the wolves in the wood were all werewolves....
Shiver is the first installment to the love story of Grace and Sam written by Maggie Stiefvster. I'll be honest I couldn't get into Shiver at first but after awhile it grew on me and I couldn't put it down. It was beautifully written, sweet and had some heart melting moments. I cried. I laughed. I giggled. It was just amazing. Maggie has created a wonderful little world that I would absolutely love to live in. The twist she has put on the werewolf myth was great and I overall really enjoyed it.® Grace was attacked by wolves when she was six and one of them saved her she has been watching that wolf ever since then in the woods behind her house and he watches back. Ghost Town

Whatever you do, don't get on the bad side of the vampires.
Ghost Town is the ninth installment to The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine. I LOVE The Morganville Vampires as you can tell from my other Morganville reviews but with Ghost Town I was kind of like "Yeah whatever." I mean it just seemed the same as the last. Don't get me wrong I liked the novel but it seemed to be the same as the last. It was action packed, dramatic and some of the romance bits were so cute your heart would skip a beat. But as always I am eager to get the next book no matter how disappointed I was with this one because Rachel is a wonderful writer.® Claire is told she HAS to fix the machine that protects Morganville. But to do this she has to give up sleep and rest - she has to fix it without stopping - Claire completes the task but at a cost of minds and memories being lost.

I will miss all the characters even Madame Veronique (That is saying something) I cried, I cheered, I drooled of the drake brothers, and I made my mum think I was insane -due to all the crying, cheering and drooling- Alyx will and forever be my favorite author and I will continue to read her wonderful novels.
